Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Washington state is seeking a Medication Technician (Med Tech – CNA/HCA) to provide compassionate medication support and daily living assistance to our residents in a team setting.

You will work with a dedicated staff to ensure residents’ comfort and safety, while promoting dignity and respect in daily activities and care plans. Weekend rotation may be required, with a supportive work culture fostering growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations is required.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain is required.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication as outlined in care plans.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory and coordinate re-orders and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living.
• Encourage independence and provide ongoing engagement and companionship.
