Cogir Senior Living in Edmonds, WA, is seeking a part-time Medication Technician (Med Tech – CNA/HCA) to provide compassionate, direct care to residents, assisting with medication administration and activities of daily living per individualized care plans.

You will join a team focused on resident well-being, safety, and comfort, with responsibilities including medication management, documentation, and coordination with pharmacies. Weekend rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication, including self-administration as outlined in their care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Promote independence and provide engagement and companionship for residents.
