Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician (Med Tech – CNA/HCA) to provide compassionate care to residents across our WA communities. You will assist with medication administration and activities of daily living, ensuring safety and support per personalized care plans.

You will collaborate with a caring team, promote resident dignity, and help residents stay engaged through life enrichment activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state CNA or HCA license.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with daily living activities.
• Prioritize independence and provide engagement and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
