Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician (Med Tech - CNA/HCA) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care, including medication administration and activities of daily living, in a supportive team setting. You will ensure residents’ comfort, safety, and well-being per individualized plans.

Ideal candidates have at least 12 months of med administration experience, memory care exposure is a plus, and strong attention to detail with a teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months of experience administering medications in a caregiving setting.
• Memory care experience is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and high integrity.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medications per care plans.
• Follow documentation protocols and report status changes.
• Assist with medication inventory, storage, and re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide daily living support and compassionate care to residents.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activities and social engagement.
• Promote open communication among residents, families and staff.
