Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician (Med Tech – CNA/HCA) to support residents’ medication administration and daily living activities. You will be part of a caring team that emphasizes safety, comfort, and individualized care in a senior living environment.

The role requires a valid CNA/HCA license, First Aid/CPR, and a willingness to obtain additional certifications. Weekend rotation may be required, with opportunities for professional growth and a supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CNA or HCA license as required by state regulations.
• Experience administering medications in a professional caregiving setting is preferred.
• Ability to follow care plans and document changes accurately.
• Commitment to resident dignity, safety, and well‑being.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily prescribed medication administration, including self-administration per care plans.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory, storage, and coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Encourage independence and offer continuous engagement and companionship.
• Support participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Maintain open communication with healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
