Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living Beaverton is seeking a Med Tech for Assisted Living/Memory Care. The role involves administering and documenting medications as per physician orders, coordinating with Wellness Director, and ensuring residents receive timely doses.

You’ll monitor responses, document vital signs, and maintain safety and dignity in daily care. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of state approved Medication Administration training.
• First Aid certification as required by ALF regulations.
• QMAP in the state of CO mentioned in posting.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document prescribed medications per orders.
• Order meds 7 days before running out; notify Wellness Director if delayed.
• Document medications after administration; initial bubble pack.
• Monitor residents for reactions and report changes to licensed nurse.
• Record vital signs before meds that may affect readings.
• Report medication errors promptly to Wellness Director.
• Assist in care plan development with other disciplines.
• Maintain resident privacy, dignity, and comfort.
• Assist with daily care tasks and mobility as needed.
