Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform and monitor a wide range of lab tests on a third shift schedule (2030-0715) with a 7-on/7-off rotation at the Sheboygan facility. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely reporting, and adherence to quality standards.

Requires minimal prior experience and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science or related field. Licensure/Certification (MT/MLS/AMT) must be obtained within 1 year, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• Licensure or certification within 1 year (MT/MLS/AMT).

Responsibilities

• Performs and monitors laboratory tests per protocol and ensures timely completion.
• Evaluates results for clinical significance and reports appropriately.
• Calibrates and maintains instruments; detects malfunctions and corrects them.
• Reviews QC/QA results and takes corrective action as needed.
• Collects specimens from patients of all ages following protocol.
