The role involves performing and evaluating laboratory tests, ensuring quality control, and supporting various departments including transfusion and microbiology.

A Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology is required, with MT/MLS certification to be obtained within 1 year. Sign-on bonus of $5000 is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology.
• ASCP/AMT MLS/MT certification requirements within 1 year.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs, evaluates, and monitors laboratory tests within established protocols.
• Evaluates results for clinical significance and reports findings.
• Performs calibration, maintenance and repair of instruments and equipment.
• Provides training and technical assistance to staff and students.
• Ensures quality control and adherence to accreditation standards.
• Assists in transfusion services, microbiology, chemistry, hematology and more.
