RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Telemetry/Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) at Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, NJ. Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing or Multistate RN License with NJ endorsement.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification and ACLS certification required within 6 months from date of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred, with prior patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes to intervene early.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on care grounded in evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families to help them understand next steps in care.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity and safety.
