Job summary

AdventHealth Parker, CO seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Med Surg unit. You will assess patients comprehensively, create individualized care plans, administer treatments, and educate families to promote understanding and compliance.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Nursing required
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum 1 year Med Surg experience required
RN license required
BLS certification required

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physiological, psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly revise as needed.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
Document patient information, care activities, and outcomes accurately.
Respond to code situations and provide interventions to stabilize patients.
