Job summary
AdventHealth Parker in Colorado is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for Med/Surg. Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing required.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Registered nurse licensure required.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record and ensure timely updates.
- Support infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance in daily care.
