Eligible staff can advance through the Clinical Ladder with potential pay increases up to 20% based on experience and achievements. Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing care plans, administering treatments, educating families, and coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (read, verbal and written)
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate Windows programs
• Ability to work as a team member within a unit
• Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills
• EKG knowledge per program requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly revise them based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments following orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record and monitor outcomes.
• Evaluate care plans and adjust to improve patient health and outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance in the clinical environment.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care to healthcare team members.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond to code situations promptly and effectively.
