Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience.
• EFK/ECG training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental and sociocultural factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, review and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Document patient information accurately and timely in the medical record.
• Evaluate care plans and adjust interventions to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance in all activities.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to care team to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and continued professional development.
• Respond rapidly to codes and stabilize patients as needed.
