Qualifications

• Graduate of a board-approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license in the state of practice (or compact state).
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in clinical nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care; engages patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities to meet patient care needs.
