The role supports the facility’s peritoneal dialysis services and collaborates with a Virtual Nursing Program to deliver technologically advanced patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• RN licensure in NC or multi-state compact as applicable.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required based on area of clinical specialty.

Responsabilités

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Provides nursing care using the nursing process, assessing, planning, diagnosing, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Maintains strict safety culture and accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
• May float to other units as needed to meet patient care demands.
