Job summary

Atrium Health Cleveland is seeking a registered nurse to join our 32-bed medical-surgical unit, delivering care across a broad range of medical and surgical diagnoses with peritoneal dialysis services.

The role involves collaboration with hospitalists, neurology, nephrology, and other specialists to ensure high-quality care, strong patient outcomes, and engagement with a Virtual Nursing Program to support advanced care delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice where care is provided.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed.
• Adheres to ANA ethics and ensures ethical patient care.
• Delegates tasks appropriately to RNs, LPNs and aides.
• Maintains professional development and required certifications.
