Job summary

Atrium Health's Davie Medical Center in Bermuda Run, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Unit. The 36-hour work week features three 12-hour shifts with weekend rotation. You will deliver comprehensive patient care, coordinate plans, and educate patients and families in a 36-bed inpatient unit close to home.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Strong assessment, prioritization, patient education and interdisciplinary communication skills.
• Previous med/surg or acute care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
