Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Davie Emergency Department in Bermuda Run, NC. The ED handles a variety of illnesses with 23 beds and 24/7 coverage, staffed by a trained team delivering rapid assessment, treatment, and stabilization.

Responsibilities include providing expert nursing care, coordinating with physicians and EMS, and ensuring patient safety during all phases of care. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified applicants who have not received one recently.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS are required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will deliver and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead with evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to ensure safety and quality.
