Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Davie Med/Surg Unit in Bermuda Run, NC. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week with three 12-hour night shifts, quarterly weekend rotations and holiday coverage. A sign-on bonus may be available for eligible applicants.

The Medical/Surgical Unit cares for adults with a range of acute and chronic conditions, supported by a collaborative team and a strong focus on patient-centered care close to home.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Strong assessment, prioritization, patient education and interdisciplinary communication skills.
• Previous med/surg or acute care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
