Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician (3ES Medical Surgical Unit) for 36 hours per week in a full-time role. Orientation week starts Monday-Thursday, with shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm and every other weekend.

The candidate will assist the care team, document in the EMR, and support patients with activities of daily living under RN/LPN supervision. A CNA certification and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited CNA course and the CNA certification exam.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient treatments and charges in the medical record.
• Assist the care team in coordinating patient activities and services.
• Assist with communication between care team, physicians, patients and families.
• Assist with personal care needs under RN/LPN supervision.
