Endeavor Health is hiring a Part-time Patient Care Technician for the Post Surgical Unit in Arlington Heights, IL. Nights, 24 hours weekly, with a Monday–Thursday orientation in the first week.

You will assist patients with personal care, mobility, and monitoring under RN/LPN supervision. Requires CNA certification and CPR, with nursing program enrollment acceptable. Competitive shift pay and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Completion of CNA course and successful CNA certification exam, EMT or Paramedic training or current enrollment in an accredited nursing program with completion of at least one major clinical medical or surgical rotation.
• Current CPR certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care needs (bathing, grooming, eating) under RN/LPN supervision.
• Obtain vital signs and monitor input/output with accu-checks and report abnormalities.
• Assist with mobility and positioning using proper body mechanics.
• Document patient care in the electronic medical record.
• Support admission, discharge, transfer, and transportation tasks as directed.
