Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician Weekender for the Critical Care unit in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role (36 hours/week) runs 6pm–6:30am on weekends plus one weeknight shift, with no required travel.

You will assist patients with personal care, mobility, vital signs, and basic procedures under RN/LPN supervision, documenting care in the EHR. CPR certification is required, as is CNA or EMT training and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited CNA course and certification, or EMT/paramedic training.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care needs under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with mobility and safety, using proper body mechanics.
• Record vital signs and input/output; report abnormalities.
