St. David's HealthCare in Austin, TX seeks a Medical Surgical Float Pool Registered Nurse to assess patients, develop and implement plans of care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care.

Responsibilities include administering medications, delegating tasks, pre- and post-operative care, patient education, and coordinating discharge planning with the care team.

Formación

• RN license required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• Associate degree in nursing.

Responsabilidades

• Formulate a plan of care and revise it based on patient response.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.
• Administer medications and provide treatments per policy.
• Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff per standards of practice.
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient care.
• Provide education to patients and families on care and treatments.
• Facilitate discharge planning with the care team.
