Job summary

St. David's HealthCare is seeking a Medical Surgical Float Pool Registered Nurse in Round Rock, Texas. In this role, you'll assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with a healthcare team to ensure effective patient care delivery.

Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse and an ADN or BSN. Extensive benefits including health coverage, education support, and retirement plans are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 60 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and revise patient care plans based on response.
• Consult with the interdisciplinary team for developing care plans.
• Administer medications according to hospital policy.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care.
• Facilitate discharge plans with the care team.
