Qualifications

• Neonate Resuscitate certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• ACLS instructor certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• BCLS instructor certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and evaluate patient care plans.
• Consult with interdisciplinary teams on care plans.
• Administer medications per hospital policy.
• Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care.
• Educate patients and families about care and treatments.
• Collaborate on discharge plans.
