HCA HealthONE Swedish in Colorado seeks a Medical Surgical Float Pool Clinical Nurse Coordinator with leadership to manage patient care flow and unit operations. You will supervise staff, delegate tasks and mentor nurses while ensuring high-quality outcomes across shifts.

The role emphasizes clinical expertise, staff development, and active participation in performance improvement initiatives within a large health system.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse or active multi-state license.
• BLS certification by AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS certification in critical care units with unit-specific preferences.
• NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Graduate from accredited school of nursing.
• BSN or in progress with completion within 3 years of hire.
• 2 years acute care clinical practice; 3 years for CCU.
• 1–2 years supervisory/charge/leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct patient care staff with delegations based on needs and competencies.
• Provide ongoing supervision on conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
• Teach and mentor staff; assist with clinical procedures as needed.
• Lead performance improvement activities hospital-wide with staff involvement.
• Make shift assignments to ensure smooth patient flow and coverage.
