Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead nursing teams in the Medical Acute Care unit. You will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate all unit activities across shifts.

You will collaborate with the management team to monitor care quality, support staff development, and streamline admissions, discharges, and staffing to maintain efficient unit throughput and exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse or active multistate licensure.
• BCLS through AHA or ARC is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a health-related bachelor's degree is required; graduate of a certified nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission/discharge to ensure throughput and high-quality care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of care quality in collaboration with management.
• Collaborate with experts and managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
• Implement nursing strategies to improve engagement and performance.
• Provide guidance on interviewing, selection, and training of new staff; action plans for performance and policy compliance.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor per patient care needs.
• Support inventory control and supplies/equipment management.
