Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg Facility Float Pool to provide expert nursing care across multiple units. You'll rotate to different service areas as competency allows and collaborate with leadership to improve patient outcomes.

Current BLS/ACLS, Colorado RN licensure, and a BSN (strongly preferred) are desired, with 2+ years of inpatient acute care experience recommended. No travel; facility float within HCA HealthONE Swedish.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Current Colorado RN license or active multistate license.
• Graduate of a certified School of Nursing; BSN strongly preferred.
• Two+ years inpatient acute care RN experience preferred.
• Able to articulate and demonstrate nursing theory and practice.
• No travel required; facility float position within HCA HealthONE Swedish.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across multiple units as needed within Swedish facility.
• Rotate to different service areas as competency allows.
• Follow scope of practice and care delivery plans.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Registered Nurse demonstrates advanced knowledge, skills and understands the unique aspects of the population served in the care of his/her patients. Each service also requires specialized skills. The delivery of care is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patient. The Registered Nurse may rotate to areas other than his/her assigned service area/s, and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency. The Registered Nurse performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at HCA HealthONE Swedish.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current BLS Certification and ACLS Certification through AHA or ARC.
• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure.
• Graduate of a certified School of Nursing. BSN strongly preferred.
• Two or more years of inpatient acute care RN experience strongly preferred.
• Able to articulate and demonstrate appropriate nursing theory and practice.
• No travel required. This is a facility float position within HCA HealthONE Swedish only.
