Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS with American Heart Association or American Red Cross for Float Pool RNs.
• Additional certifications required based on specialty unit (ACLS, PALS, STABLE, TNCC, ENPC and/or NRP).
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN desirable.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate nursing specialty advanced knowledge and skills for the patient population.
• Utilize specialized skills and unit-specific competencies as a float pool nurse.
• Oversee and direct the care of CNAs and assistive personnel, maintaining accountability for care.
• Rotate to other areas as needed and perform only competencies you have demonstrated.
