Cleveland Clinic Mentor Hospital is seeking a Clinical Technician to join the Med/Surg Unit. This role supports adult patients, handles basic care tasks under RN supervision, and participates in patient transfers and room upkeep.

The position is nights (6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) with rotating weekends and holidays. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, BLS certification, and one year of recent patient care experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross before/within hire period.
• One year of recent, full-time patient care experience.
• Certain substitutions may apply (e.g., nursing student rotations or military medical experience).
• Reading and math skills required at an 8th grade level.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under RN supervision, including vitals and transfers.
• Maintain room cleanliness and assist with personal care.
• Operate basic care devices and support with procedures as directed.
