Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is seeking a Clinical Technician for night shifts to support general emergency/trauma care and cardiac services. You will assist with basic patient care, maintain room cleanliness, and demonstrate empathy in all interactions.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and BLS certification, with one year of patient care experience. Nursing students may substitute clinical rotations or BLS prerequisites as allowed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of recent, full-time patient care experience.
• BLS certification required within the new hire period.
• Nursing students: BLS prior to hire (AHA or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision, including Vital signs and weight, and personal care.
• Assist with room cleanliness and patient comfort and safety.
• Report abnormal findings to the RN and escalate as needed.

Education

High School Diploma/GED

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through American Heart Association

Nursing students: BLS prior to hire (AHA or Red Cross)
