Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross within new hire period.
• One year of recent, full-time patient care experience.
• Education or training may substitute for some or all of the stated experience.
• Nursing students with clinical rotations may substitute rotation for the required experience.
• Military medical experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision, including vital signs, personal care, dressing changes, and monitoring devices.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to an RN.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
