Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital is hiring a Clinical Technician to support the Emergency Department with patient care tasks under RN supervision. The role emphasizes empathy, safety, and efficient care delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Eligible caregivers may receive tuition reimbursement while gaining hands-on experience and opportunities for career growth within a world-class health system. This night shift includes 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. hours and rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross within new hire period.
• One year of recent, full-time patient care experience OR nursing student with clinical rotation OR military medical experience.
• Competencies in professional, technical and clinical knowledge must be demonstrated.
• Mathematical and reading comprehension at an 8th grade level.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and patient weight; assist with personal care.
• Support with phlebotomy, 12-lead ECGs and Foley catheter removal.
• Report abnormal findings to an RN and assist with care.
• Maintain clean, orderly patient rooms and equipment.
