Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Rockford, IL seeks a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to install, program, and maintain electrical control systems across our manufacturing lines. You will work with servo drives, PLCs, vision systems, and motion control to keep equipment running at peak performance.

You will read and interpret schematics, perform calibrations, and coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a related field and/or 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
• Basic Mathematical Skills.
• Intermediate Computer Skills.
• Full Professional Proficiency: speak, read, and write fluently on professional needs.
• Very High Reasoning: define problems, analyze data, and draw conclusions.
• High standard of report writing.

Responsibilities

• Set up, installs, and maintains electrical control systems including servo drives and PLCs.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and diagrams to determine tasks.
• Troubleshoot electrical components and perform PMs; calibrate equipment as needed.
• Program, commission, and diagnose motion systems and vision systems.
• Ensure safety with Lockout/Tagout procedures and adhere to quality policies.
