Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Rockford, IL is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic 2 for the 3rd shift (Mon-Thu, 9pm-7am). You will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment while ensuring a safe workplace and supporting internal customers to meet site goals.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2-3 years applicable maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment or 2-year Technical School.
• Basic Mathematical and computer skills.
• Minimum professional proficiency: ability to speak, read, and participate effectively in conversations.
• High reasoning: ability to solve practical problems with concrete variables.

Responsibilities

• Support packaging lines with routine and non-routine adjustments to ensure high-quality product.
• Perform preventive maintenance, changeovers, repairs, and running adjustments.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Detect faulty operations and report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a high level of 5S in the facility and support continuous improvement.
