Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Rockford, IL seeks a 2nd Shift Electrical/Controls Technician to install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical control systems including servo drives, PLCs, and vision systems. You will work from drawings, calibrate equipment, and ensure proper printing and operation across production lines.

Ideal candidates have an Associate's degree or 1–3 years related experience, strong AutoCAD and instrumentation skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 1–3 years related experience
• Basic mathematical skills and intermediate computer skills
• Full professional proficiency: speaking, reading, and writing at a professional level
• High reasoning: analyze problems and interpret technical instructions

Responsibilities

• Draft equipment drawings and diagrams using AutoCAD for design purposes
• Read, interpret, and use drawings, diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to determine actions
• Troubleshoot electrical defects at component level (transformers, relays, controllers)
• Perform preventive maintenance and PM work orders on equipment
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety policies
