Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and hands-on troubleshooting across MHE, conveyors, and robotics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience or Amazon Mechatronics & Robotics Apprenticeship Program.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics experience.
• 2+ years of safety standards experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE (belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, etc).
• Maintain positive working relationships across all Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and perform bending and lifting as required.
