Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the facility.

You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, while mentoring junior technicians to grow in their roles. This role demands safety-conscious work and the ability to lift up to 49 lbs and endure long shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience or Amazon Apprenticeship.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 2+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years demonstrating safety standards.
• 2+ years troubleshooting material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE.
• Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand/walk up to 12-hour shifts, climb ladders safely, lift and reach as needed.
