Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, while mentoring junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; certification from apprenticeship or 2+ years of automated conveyor experience preferred.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience and ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance, plus blueprints and electrical schematics reading.
• 2+ years of safety standards practice and MHE troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain positive working relationships across the Amazon Operations facility.
• Ability to move up to 49 lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders and perform bending and lifting.
