Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.
Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
2+ years of automated conveyor systems experience or Amazon apprenticeship certification.
2+ years of conducting predictive and preventive maintenance procedures.
2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
2+ years of safety standards experience.
2+ years of troubleshooting material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
Complete preventive maintenance with proper documentation.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on MHE, belts, motors, sensors, relays, etc.
Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.
Move up to 49 lbs, stand for shifts up to 12 hours, climb ladders safely, and perform bending, lifting, and reaching.
