Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team across building systems. You will repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, install and service automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• Certification from Mechatronics/Robotics Apprenticeship Program, or 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience.
• 2+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years demonstrating safety standards experience.
• 2+ years troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain positive working relationships across the Amazon Operations facility.
• Move up to 49lbs; stand/walk up to 12 hours; climb ladders and gangways safely; regular bending, lifting, and reaching.
