Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA) in Memphis, TN, to learn electronic, mechanical, computer, and control skills on high-performance manufacturing systems. You will analyze, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to ensure process efficiency while adhering to safety regulations.

You will be mentored by senior technicians, paired with journey workers, and exposed to high-automation facilities, with relocation flexibility after program completion.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science, or 4+ years of military experience.
• High School Diploma
• 1+ years of PC software experience including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook experience
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items
• Knowledge of mathematics
• Experience measurement reading and interpretation
• Work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyor equipment using the appropriate job plans, procedures, and manuals.
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all material handling equipment components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, tachometers, etc.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand and walk for shifts up to 12 hours, climb ladders, and perform bending, lifting, and reaching as required
