Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA) in Erlanger, KY. You will learn to combine electronic, mechanical, computer and control skills while working on high-performance manufacturing systems. You will be mentored by senior technicians to grow in safety-conscious, collaborative teams.

You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot robotics and MHE, and contribute to equipment availability. The program includes relocation options after completion and a 9-week training with

Qualifications

• Associate of Science or 4+ years of military experience.
• High school diploma required.
• 1+ years PC software experience including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items.
• Knowledge of mathematics; ability to read measurements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using job plans and manuals.
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays and related components.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand for long shifts, climb ladders, and perform regular bending and lifting.
