Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA) to combine electronic, mechanical, computer and automation engineering skills on the job. You will work with high‑performance manufacturing systems and learn to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to maintain process efficiency and equipment availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1+ years of PC software experience including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Vocational/technical training or an associate degree or 1+ years of Amazon RME experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items.
• Knowledge of mathematics and experience in measurement reading and interpretation.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using job plans, procedures, and manuals.
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, and related components.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand for long shifts, climb ladders and perform bending and lifting as required.
