Job summary
Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA) in Murfreesboro, TN. You will learn to combine electronic, mechanical, computer and automation engineering skills on high‑performance manufacturing systems and assist in installation, maintenance and repair of automated packaging equipment.
During on‑the‑job learning, you will be mentored by senior technicians, perform preventive maintenance, and work with team members across operations to improve equipment availability and safety
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1+ years of PC software experience including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- vocational/technical training or an associate degree or above, or 1+ years of Amazon RME experience
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items
- Knowledge of mathematics
- Experience measurement reading and interpretation
- Work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment
- Maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE components
- Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, solenoids, motor starters, tachometers
- Move up to 49lbs and work shifts up to 12 hours, climbing ladders safely, bending and reaching
