Job summary

Amazon in Memphis, TN is hiring for a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice. You will learn to combine electronic, mechanical, computer and control skills on high-performance systems.

You will be mentored by senior technicians and paired with journey workers to support automated packaging and distribution equipment. Youll engage in preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement to maximize equipment availability.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science or 4+ years of military experience.
• High School Diploma.
• 1+ years of PC software experience including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items.
• Knowledge of mathematics and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using manuals and job plans.
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, and related components.
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders safely.
