Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA) in Appling, GA. This permanent, full-time role will pair you with journey workers across high-automation facilities to learn maintenance of robotics and material handling equipment, while ensuring safety compliance and high equipment availability.

You will receive on-the-job training, work with complex systems, and contribute to installation, maintenance, and preventative tasks to support efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of PC software experience including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Knowledge of mathematics and measurement reading/interpreation.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items.
• Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics is a plus.
• Willingness to relocate after program and enroll in 9-week training.
• Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment.
• Contribute to maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in material handling equipment.
• Maintain motors, sensors, relays, solenoids, and related components.
• Move up to 49lbs and work shifts up to 12 hours; climb ladders safely.
