Job summary

Amazon in Wilmington, OH is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA). The role combines electronic, mechanical, computer and automation engineering, with on-the-job learning to analyze, troubleshoot and repair systems, ensuring safety and high equipment availability through continual improvement.

You will be paired with journey workers, work at highly automated facilities, and complete tasks based on technical docs while growing under senior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic PC software experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Technical/vocational training or associate degree, or 1+ years of Amazon RME experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using job plans, procedures and manuals.
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, solenoids, motor starters and related components.
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders, and perform bending/lifting as required.
