Job summary

Amazon in Bristol, IN seeks a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA) to learn electronic, mechanical, computer and automation engineering on real manufacturing systems. During on-the-job learning you will work with high-performance systems, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair to maintain process efficiency.

You will be paired with journey workers, complete work from technical documents, and follow safety regulations.

Qualifications

: High School Diploma required.
: Vocational/technical training or an associate degree or above, or 1+ years of Amazon RME experience.
: Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items.
: Knowledge of mathematics and measurement reading/interpretation.
: Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using plans, procedures, and manuals.
Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment components.
Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, solenoids, motor starters, tachometers, etc.
Move up to 49lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and perform bending, lifting, and reaching as required.
