Job summary

JLL invites applications for a Mechatronics Junior Technician Apprentice. You will learn to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electronic, mechanical and robotics systems in a complex Fulfilment/Distribution Center while completing a comprehensive classroom, laboratory and on‑the‑job learning program.

You will train to follow health and safety policies, shadow experienced technical advisors, and collaborate with Automation Engineers, Robotics Engineers and OEMs to develop hands‑on skills

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must meet minimum Mechanical Aptitude Test.
• Willing to travel to training sites in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina or Texas for 12 weeks.
• Basic computer skills, including email, word processing, reading spreadsheets, and internet browser basics.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechatronics equipment in a distribution center.
• Shadow technicians and follow safety policies.
• Work with PLCs and robotics teams in labs and real environments.
• Operate conveyors and identify malfunctions with guidance from senior technicians.
